Call for Paper Submissions
Authors are invited to submit papers in all areas of thematic focus for theiSTEAMS Conference. Papers should contain substantial ideas which have the potential of aiding inventions, theories, innovation, practices, design, modeling and implementation or a technological breakthrough for general and specialized use. The Conference proceeding will be published both online and in print. Extended versions of selected papers from the proceedings will be included in a Special Issue of Afr J Comp & ICTs and other high ranking Journals. Papers are solicited from but not limited to the areas listed below:

The iSTEAMS conference welcomes papers in different submissions categories
Category I
Graduate Work in Progress Papers
(Full Paper Submission & Extended Abstracts)
This is open to doctoral, graduate and undergraduate students. Papers should contain a maximum of 1500-2500words (including references, figures and main text).
Category II
Conference Track Session Papers
(Full Paper Submission)
Papers in all conference thematic areas must not be more than 4000words (including references, figures and main text)
Paper Submission Guidelines
Authors can submit papers electronically through our online submission system on or before February 28, 2014. For papers to appear in the proceedings, at least one author must register and pay for the conference. Notification of paper review report and acceptance/rejection will be provided at most 2 weeks from the date the paper is submitted. For any paper to be considered for the Conference Best Paper Award, the final manuscript must be submitted latest March 30, 2014. Authors are advised to adhere strictly to the paper submission template.
Final camera- ready paper must be submitted latest May 15, 2014.

CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP FOR PARTICIPANTS
Conference sponsorship opportunities are open for organisations to support students and African participation at The iSTEAMS conference 2014. Sponsors have branding and promotion offers on conference website and conference materials.
Students/Youth Corpers
Student and Youth Corp members at The iSTEAMS conference will be allowed to pay reduced conference fee through sponsorship, support and contributions from donor organisation and other conference sponsors. We therefore encourage students and youth corp members to take active role in conference forums and develop a background to support development initiatives in Africa through the iSTEAMS Research Nexus. Volunteers students and Youth Corp members are also Welcome to participate FREE at the conference. Spaces for Volunteers are however limited.
